Massive congratulations to all at Seaton Carew. And to any links lovers who have never been, or not for a while, get yourself up to Hartlepool in 2025
We are delighted to have climbed five places in @NCG_com's latest Top 100 Golf Courses in England rankings. Even more exciting, we’ve entered the Top 100 Golf Courses in GB&I for the first time in several decades—a testament to the hard work we’ve put in over the past few years.

Here is Volume 1 of Links from the Road. A must-own for lovers of seaside golf. Very proud to be working with @sd_cooper on this series of journals that chronicle his travels around the British coast. Full details here:

I really do enjoy @ClubHuntercombe on multiple levels, which is just as well as many of the greens are on multiple levels. Is there a more devious set of greens in the land? And because so many slope away from you, it’s that much harder to judge approaches. Genius from W Park Jr

Here is the @ClubHuntercombe take on Gunners, apparently inspired by members who found the latter a little too sweet. I can tell you it is very refreshing. Anyone seen this variation elsewhere?

In which I explain how my new @PINGTourEurope Blueprint S irons have weaker lofts yet launch lower than my previous set. I dedicate this to all fellow high-launchers out there @NCG_com

It shouldn’t take a special occasion for those of us who love playing great courses to #thankagreenkeeper. But to all the greenkeepers out there we really do appreciate it. We simply couldn’t enjoy the game without you

@matthewway63 @NCG_com Absolutely, Matt. Personally not a fan of manicuring any courses - but especially not ones as natural as our ancient links - to the levels we are now often seeing. It’s unnecessary and unsustainable. Also believe it is a test of skill to cope with variable lies

@JackMFoster @NCG_com It’s not. But most of our very best courses are links. Hmm, would imagine at least some members if not many of them are delighted to be bringing in over £1,000 per tee time

Some thoughts on the spiralling cost of green fees on our best courses here in the British Isles
