@kunley_drukpa This is bullshit btw. Aisha bint Uthman ibn Affan is not the daughter of Ruqayya (Allah be pleased with her). She is the daughter of Ramla bint Shayba. I’m sure the rest of the diagram js riddled with other errors.

Western Muslim professionals, we all have the chance to actualise this video. Observe this poor Syrian man, his faith in Allah, and how a meagre ~500 dollars, which many of us can casually toss without concern, covered a WHOLE YEAR of his finances. May Allah use us.
An #Australian man's car broke down in the #Damascus countryside, so he came across an elderly #Syrian man and paid his rent for a whole year.

Big development: The Syrian foreign minister will be participating in the ministerial meeting of the GCC foreign ministers in Mecca. It is becoming increasingly obvious that the new Syrian state will have strong ties to the Saudi heartlands.

@muslim_anonn This sounds more like OCD tendencies than the byproduct of Salafism. Fyi, various Salafi scholars talk about the negative impacts of ghuluw in tajwid with respect to layman audiences.

@MarinaMedvin Congratulations, you just discovered that neighboring human populations generally tended to intermix via commerce, migration, and shared histories. If anything, it illustrates how the native Palestinians were well-integrated into the region and part of a functioning mosaic.

@alieforza Bukhari does not have one isnad per se. He, like the rest of his peers, had hundreds and thousands of isnads for many hadiths. The utility of Bukhari is not in the preservation of prophetic traditions, as virtually all of Sahih al-Bukhari can reproduced from other.

Now, a third witness, Sh Wehbe Zuhaili’s own son, corroborates the account from Sh Wehbe that al-Buti told Bashar Al-Assad regarding the revolutionaries, “You are Allah’s khalifa in the land, so kill them if you wish.”. The poster who shared this post on FB now officially

@D1mashqi Nothing said here is surprising to anyone following the developments of Syria over the past years. Once again, the real and new development here is that Salafis now have a new seat at the table of Syrian religious institutions. That is what was celebrated by many who rejoiced at.

Some of my takeaways from this interview:. 1. Secular modernity, alone, is an existential threat to Batini faiths that rely on insulation for self-preservation. I can only imagine what the effects of a just and pro-Islam epoch would be. 2. Despite the sectarian tensions and.

@charqala My issue is not personal with him at this point now that he is dead. We cannot allow this tainted legacy to become sanitized and overlooked, lest we should expect dozens of Butis to re-emerge in the ensuing generations.

@MercifulMessage Tawhid can embody blemishes and impurities, and a reviver of the faith who renormalizes the pure tawhid of the Salaf in a time when it is ridiculed and disregarded should be supported and aided.

@WestSemitic I have the same phenotype, and I’m J1 Syrian Arab. In Syria, I believe it’s probably due to Anatolian and Balkan admixture, which was accelerated by the Ottomans. There’s a lot of Kurdish influence throughout the Levant as well.

@AvdullahYousef I don’t believe much of a response is warranted. I am perfectly fine accepting the prospect of occasional transgressions occurring with respect to his politics, and I see no reason to dispute that in detail. My primary interest is in his works and formulations, which I find.

On this note, I once observed a Syrian from Nawā , Hawrān, with the surname, الشعباني, introduce himself to a Yemeni man. The Yemeni shockingly inquired, “You’re from Bani Sha’bān?!” The Syrian nodded with confusion at the Yemeni’s surprise. Fascinating interactions that only

@WestSemitic There are small communities that migrated to the major urban hubs, such as Damascus, during the Ottoman era. Bosniaks often had the last name بوشناق, and Albanians had the last name أرناؤوط. Other Balkan last names exist as well. Coincidentally, in my experience, these phenotypes.

@D1mashqi What you said really negates nothing from the report from Sheikh al-Zuhaily. It is just a series of irrelevant speculation that does not actually address the account. A person can have individual ties with some people from a group and still call for their general persecution.

@Bochuzou Outside the bubble of a small clerical class and its associates (inflated in the online Anglosphere by some accounts), anti-Assad Syrians generally despise him or are silent about him. His ardent defenders usually never were part of the Revolution or non-Syrian fanatics.

This is true. An annoying but inevitable outcome of the Revolution’s success is that a lot of Syrians who spent the last 14 years twiddling with their thumbs while entire cities were being desolated now suddenly grew the cojones to pontificate as all-time revolutionaries.
