@txsportsdoc The craziest thing about all of this is: physician-owned hospitals got outlawed, but then the alternative was private equity owned and that was supposed to save money???

I’m really tired of books series. I’d just like a solid #fantasybooks or #scifibooks that is a stand alone. I don’t need a 14 book trilogy that never gets to the point.

@Suburbanbella @TakeMedBack @pppforpatients @txp4p @robertpainter Sad part is that it sort of dooms the program even is they can save it. Prospective residents aren’t going to want to come to a program that is under threat of closure, same with faculty, so you have difficulty recruiting high quality people.

@KerosSotirios I definitely think the law gives needed protections to patients, but I’ve also seen lots of discussion about how it gives payors much more leverage than they should have when negotiating with providers.
