Is there a word for the state of being where you get all the dishes washed, and then get them all put away? Because I almost got there today.

@txsportsdoc The craziest thing about all of this is: physician-owned hospitals got outlawed, but then the alternative was private equity owned and that was supposed to save money???

I’m really tired of books series. I’d just like a solid #fantasybooks or #scifibooks that is a stand alone. I don’t need a 14 book trilogy that never gets to the point.

Today is Election Day, and my choices are between a career politician and someone who thinks we are investing too much in new infrastructure. Why??

@Suburbanbella @TakeMedBack @pppforpatients @txp4p @robertpainter Sad part is that it sort of dooms the program even is they can save it. Prospective residents aren’t going to want to come to a program that is under threat of closure, same with faculty, so you have difficulty recruiting high quality people.

@morganhousel The Worst Hard Time by Timothy Egan is pretty great. It’s about the dust bowl, so technically not exactly focused on the Great Depression, but obviously closely related.

@MohitHarshMD @Dr_Oubre This was my reaction as well. Haha. No one actually understands documentation rules, let alone how to teach it.

@KerosSotirios I definitely think the law gives needed protections to patients, but I’ve also seen lots of discussion about how it gives payors much more leverage than they should have when negotiating with providers.
