Thanks for your response - I’m the husband in the story. I think Malaka was trying to shed light on the struggles that a spouse with LC (or any chronic illness) faces. I know that can be a hard conversation given the lack of public belief and visibility of those dealing with LC

This sounds identical to my symptoms. My doc put me on hydroxyzine and an antidepressant. It didn’t work right away but the tremors slowly subsided and the sleep became normal after several months. It was brutal. Hope they’re hanging in there.

This person was euthanized today because of their long struggle with ME. I can’t imagine the suffering she had to endure in order to make this decision, but I’m grateful that she lived in a country where assisted suicide is legal and accessible. Her suffering is over.

To this day I am still a Netflix DVD subscriber and as a lover of movies I am sincerely bummed that my options are going to be limited to what’s available at a given moment on streaming platforms.
Before it ushered in the streaming era, Netflix's business model revolved around sending DVDs through the mail in easily recognizable red-and-white envelopes. Now, the company said it will ship its final DVDs to customers this year.

Answer: The first thing to rule out in issues like this (sudden increase in sleep problems related to a viral infections) is histamine and MCAS.
I think many people's eyes glaze over when they hear "mast cell activation disorder (MCAS or MCAD)".

I say this without exaggeration: Nicholas Cage’s performance in 88’s Vampire’s Kiss is unlike anything I’ve seen in a movie by a major studio from any decade. Simply gobsmacking. It’s streaming on Prime right now and I urge anyone with a passing interest in movies to seek it out.
