Bank Manager (IOB) attacked in Karad, Pune for loan under PMEGP - Prime Minister Employment Generation Program. in recent few years Maharashtra state has earned a bad name when it comes to number of Physical assaults/attack on Bankers in last few years. No other state we saw more of such incidents. Bank Union Associations there should meet to CM Maharashtra and DGP Police Maharashtra for ultimate solution and stronger steps for #ProtectionOfBankers It's now or never. We are here to give service not for humiliation, life threatening attacks. Every Bank Branch should be shut down in Maharashtra unless the Govt takes stronger steps to ensure the safety of bankers. @CMOMaharashtra @DGPMaharashtra Totally failed as a state to ensure the safety of bankers. @nsitharaman @narendramodi Please bring #BankersProtectionAct at the earliest. Or Bankers will be forced to boycott Maharashtra state for their Posting place to give Financial services.
