Do you use fitness testing at regular time intervals with your athletes? I try to test my athletes at least quarterly to help refocus the programming, audit the progress, and make sure we are progressing in the right direction. This also opens up additional conversations with athletes about their specific needs. It can be a lot of time and logistics, but if you do, it effectively can yield powerful insights.

We use testing several times per year with each team to gauge progress in key metrics related to our sports. Speed Strength Stamina Power Are all measured through various tests. These tests are then compared to historical norms, team averages, and the individual player to make training decisions. It is important to take in information about your training to understand the effect you are having on your athletes.

@Joe_Eisenmann yeah you did ive read that article a few times in my search.. the closest I have come so far is that the pts are based on a normal distribution of athletes in each individual measurement and allocated accordingly on a 1000pt scale..

Often Imitated.. Often Duplicated the origional Athlete KPI Dashboard showed a glimpse of what was possible with GSheets for Sports Performance. Still one of the projects I turn people to if they want to understand how to use this platform, or the standalone product I point people towards if they need something quick to track their athletes.
