I spend alot of time talking of the need for NHS reform.But yesterday I underwent surgery & the level of professionalism, care & compassion of staff was just fantastic. Whatever we say about the organisation there is no doubt we have amazing front line NHS staff @AmandaPritchard

Thanks Josh, @LGAWellbeing have been critical of single word assessments since first muted. They are so unhelpful and risk making any difficult situation far worse. Just ask OFSTED. Please can we have some common sense on this?! @DHSCgovuk
At health and social care questions today I asked about the use of single word assessments in CQC. I don't believe that they are an effective way of improving outcomes or informing the public about the state of local social care services.

Delighted to represent the @LGAWellbeing at today’s Tobacco and Vapes Bill Committee. Lots of questioning from MP’s particularly around licensing, fees and fines but perhaps most importantly Local Governments capacity to enforce.
