It seems evangicals especially find comfort in the old testement which is actually similar to the Quoran which they despise. You would think they would follow the New Testements teachings. I guess slavery would have been hard to justify if you did.

I was a 18 year old college freshnan when the time I learned JFK was assisinated became seared in my memory. I was off the coast of Haiphong North Vietnam on patrol when I learned Bobby was assassinated. Many of us held them up for their beliefs.

Cherish this Christmas as your gift to your family and friends. I just lost my mom yesterday, she couldn’t make it. She was 98 though and had a good full life. We all have to cope with life best we can. My sincerest holiday wishes to you and your loved ones.
