He didn't get passed over. Julian declined the invitation to speak because he felt the convention wasn't diverse enough. Castro was my favorite male candidate running, but the decision to not speak was his and his alone. And, frankly, it was a bad one imo.
Julián Castro was 18x more qualified than Pete Buttigieg and tonight he got passed over for him again.
Julián was the mayor of a city of 1.7 million and Pete was the Mayor of a Home Depot. Classic example of how little white men have to do to be seen as impressive.
