Congrats Grace! @RDPQueensHockey got a good one. How many AAA players have 500KM round trip for practices & home games? That is commitment from @svminorhockey product. Hard to believe Grace & brother @Lane_Kirk_ are elite defenders when dad could barely find his side of redline.

@rodpedersen @CFLonTSN Have seen quite a few football people talk about Allen not pitching that ball (maturity). I think defender reached around Allen’s left side to strip ball at same time he looked back and he had to immediately wrap up the ball to avoid a strip, more than maturity.

@JaredRubadoBP @BSUBeaversMHKY Great read on Reilly Funk. In the MJHL final reference it’s the Swan Valley Stampeders (not Swamp Valley). The Stampeders graduated goalie Orlando Alamano and forward Ian Lowe (line mate of Matt Read at Frozen Four) to the BSU Beavers. Didn’t realize Tom was still coaching.

@WiebesWorld @WinnipegNews There was a time when some goalies reported that it was sometimes harder to read the black puck off black stick tape, curious if Jets goalies would share (wiser not to give that up). Gone are the days of @DougBlaylock & @markald17 with the Fiberglass Titan on Bowsman Arena. Thx

@ChrisC60156634 @NikLynam He added Monahan and Toffoli at deadline last year, solid investment for a SC run, but didn’t work out in playoffs against solid Avs teams, before suspension to Nichushkin. He has a top 10 team again with only 4 top 6 forwards on the roster. We’ll see who bolsters this time.

@tysyls16 @PDJnyc @NikLynam @Canucks I don’t see professional NHL scouts thinking he has “a lot” of value….. Didn’t even dress in playoffs. Vancouver isn’t rebuilding… don’t envision Canucks trading a superstar for prospects. Likely need to include Ehlers with extension even to have them even answer the phone.

Very impressive, Stamps looked very good last night. 11 goals in two games. What a turn around over the past month… 5-1-1 over past 7 games by my math and the Blues are in Swan River on Friday night. Come on out to the Corral and support your local hockey club.

He naturally deserves plenty of credit/responsibility win or lose. 🇨🇦 should have an edge in this area.

Coach responsible for a team that underperformed start to finish.

Wow, two big cap hits. Miller moved too frequently to ignore so he’ll be easier to acquire, but who wants to roll the dice with that track record (BW2.0). Pettersson at $11M+ L/T tough to offset, but if I could package Ehlers & Vilardi I do it for a decade long superstar.
According to Elliotte Friedman, the Canucks are taking calls on Pettersson and Miller—GM, coach, and even Captain Quinn Hughes are tired of the drama. Meanwhile, Biz on Spittin’ Chiclets says the Rangers are focused on getting Miller back in #NYR Expects teams to act fast to boost playoff pushes and build chemistry.
