Exactly this. Dealing with the heat outside isn’t a problem. It’s in our homes and buildings. The build quality is far better than the US and designed to keep the heat in.
Air-con isn’t needed for most of the year and it’s expensive.

As harsh as it sounds, I think that you should have to take another driving test every 5 years over the age of 65/70. So many older generation drivers that struggle with sight and spacial awareness. It would end up with a lot losing their freedom, but imo saves a lot of lives
