Two months in and I’ve learned that this PhD is going to require the same approach of that which got me across the U.S. on two wheels. Consistency, perseverance and delayed gratification. Physiotherapy students keeping me on my toes in the classroom too!

It’s good to do hard things. In November I’ll be returning to UCD to undertake a PhD examining the use of neural bio-signals in robotic gait rehabilitation. Scary to leave employment in your thirties but I’ve never been afraid to take a leap of faith. Grateful to be able to.
