Year 5 recently finished the brilliant ‘Brightstorm’ by

. Pupils were hanging off every word and teachers were SO excited to read on! Year 5 loved it so much that, after a vote, we have chosen to go straight into reading the next book in the series ‘Darkwhispers’

Today, we learnt about racism. We watched a video where a young boy shared his experience and we had some very sensible discussions about tolerance and how everyone deserves to be treated equally. We then designed ribbons to promote stopping racism.
