It's official - Ash Hill is a good school! Following a very successful two-day inspection, OFSTED have confirmed the result of the inspection which states that Ash Hill was judged as being "good" in all areas. Report can be found here:

Today the Academy stopped in silence as we remembered the selfless contributions soldiers have made throughout our history to protect our peace.
Our cadets took part in a Remembrance Parade to show our united respect for our Armed Forces.

Ash Hill Academy raises aspirations at careers evening
This year's Aspirations Evening was our biggest and best yet with over 40 exhibitors to the academy. This was complemented by a fantastic attendance by students from all year groups and their parents/carers.

Today we remember former student, Rifleman Liam Maughan of 3rd Battalion The Rifles.
In 2010 at 18 years old, Liam died whilst serving in Afghanistan from wounds received as a result of small arms fire. “Bravest of the brave, swift and bold”.

AHA welcomed The Royal Institution who delivered the science show, Energy LIVE!, to students in Y7/8. The show included many links to the science curriculum and demonstrated each type of energy store with fire and bangs!
