@G_Fro As individuals there are brilliant ones no doubt about it. But they'd be far better value in other roles. Civilian IO's in Prisoner handling teams and Safeguarding, Comms, Custody etc

@G_Fro 17 years, over 6 of those as a Pcso 👍 When the funding was separate and ring fenced, no problem. But now it's unfortunately a luxury the service can no longer afford. And it isn't an adequate role in trying to police modern day England
