@neilfortw 100% of the fines have been under Lib Dem control of TW Council Kent council confirmed there was no reason for the Lib Dems to re-activate the scheme & start fines. TW Council CEO confirmed it was solely a political decision by the TW Lib Dem leader to start fines.

Talking today to #PaddockWood residents on the doorstep, it was no surprise that the issue of flooding was a recurring theme. As my debate in Parliament on flooding highlighted infrastructure needs to be in place before expansion.

2/ Kent County Council have been clear that the Lib Dem Alliance coalition in TW did not have to restart the previously suspended vehicle fining scheme on Monson Road this year & they have the power to suspend it at any time.

@timeslocalnews The council is charging below market rates to rent out the park, such as the circus & Pub in the Park. Additional revenue should be sourced there rather than hitting taxpayers twice & penalising volunteers who maintain the park with parking fees.
