Our focus was on the universal profiles (@ERC725Account) for the last years. On the sideline, we also evolved tokens and NFTs (LSP7 and LSP8). We have taken the last months to finalize those standards. I personally see them as final. But it is important to understand that.

We just updated ERC725Y to add get/setData without arrays too, so we have cheaper smart contract reads and writes, as this will happen a lot in the future. getData(bytes32[] keys) is more for apps to read contracts fast with a single call.
