Is it wrong of me to say that I disagree with Colleges/Universities allowing recruits to take photos in their kits? Maybe it is a generational thing - but when I got to put on the MSU jersey for the very first time as a freshman, I was beaming with joy and excitement.

Still processing the outcome of today but to sum it up briefly... I’m extremely proud. We knew All-State would be a possibility but to run tough & gritty in your first State Finals & come out inside the top 30 under grueling course & weather conditions - so well earned Abbie!❤️🖤

Prepping for our departure for XC team camp tomorrow. I’m about to start my 5th year coaching girls (& now boys) at CHS and this is our 1st stay-away team camp. I cannot wait! The kids are sooo excited. It’s taken a few years to have a culture that was eager for this opportunity!

girls had the KLAA Champs yesterday and while we were not full strength on our Varsity squad due to a Concussion sustained this week - we had 2 girls take home 2nd team All-Conference honors (Abbie H. and Sierra)! The girls also claimed their KLAA East Division trophy!

Today we lost a battle we wholeheartedly thought we could win and more tears were shed than I could have predicted today.
Good thing we aren’t defined by 1 race. Another crack at an 800 ahead + Championship Mile in Eugene.
