Kids donโt play college or pro football. Adults do. Are 90% of HS players walking around like zombies later in life? Iโm not, none of my former teammates are either. I know this is tough, but as a journalist, you have to research and give accurate data, not just spew your opinion

Buddy, I feel like 90% of my football reporting involves former college and pro players who either can't walk well, have awful back pains and/or can't remember where they live. There are so many sports out there. Knowing what we know, inflicting kids to this is bullshit.

Our kids are going to the park and playing, going to parties and running around in public. Do you think playing football with strict protocols is worse then that? We offer a safer option IMO
Can any HS football coaches who are advocating for having a season tell me how they will do things safer (or as safe as) than college football? Yes college football where conferences are canceling half or more of their weekly schedules now.

There needs to be a complete culture change within PE. PE is not Sports Performance in many schools. Each has their place, but most strength coaches donโt want to be PE teachers and most PE teachers arenโt qualified to run a weight room. Districts have to recognize this.
