@bharniman As a Heat fan, I am thrilled but I think Jimmy (as much as I don't like him) will actually catapult GS to the conference finals. OKC better hope they don't see them early in the playoffs.

The suggestion that 2M Canadians are going to cancel US trips over tariff threats is absurd. Sure, some will protest with their wallet, but I'd wager that many of the current cancellations will rebook once cooler heads prevail @kjlagrave @TRtravels

I know it's counterintuitive (in this bifurcated economy) to suggest that the high end of travel will experience some headwind, but hear me out. @jan_freitag @hotelanalyst @MonicaPitrelli @nateclaydiller

Attn Hospitality Staff: Research shows affluent consumers are back to scrutinizing their bills vs past behavior of simply signing the check. Beware of padded tickets. Also note, times are changing for even the most well-healed travelers @tomsietsema @LouisDarbon @chriselliotts

Frontier-Spirit is a good combo for both the airline industry and the traveler, especially given the challenges in the ULCC space right now. @DOJ and @SECGov should be behind this, as should shareholders. @Lebeaucarnews @Schlangenstein

What fun to be with @theSmartFlyer this week at Chateau Lake Louise. Talk about a group of travel experts that influences major ultra luxe travel spend. SF success underscores @MMGYglobal research pointing to the ongoing vitality of travel advisors. @michaelholtzz @RobertMSilk

Really good data here from @dragontrail on the outbound Chinese traveler. Market looking healthier and healthier, plus a reminder about who books, how they book and what they consider when booking. @BrandUSA @lynnbruni @JanetLamkin

DOJ vs RealPage is an interesting look at how algos might permit big property managers to artificially lift rents. Could this portend a look at similar practices in the hotel space? The 9th Circuit is currently looking at Vegas. @alyssafowers @dataeditor

This @nytimes story suggests food tourism is dead, in favor of experiences closer to home. Nope, just nope. While it's correct that food experiences are now omnipresent through diaspora & tech, culinary travel is only enhanced by this truth. @thebrianlee

OK, it appears the time has come for public companies to replace "AI" with "Quantum Computing" in quarterly guidance releases and calls. Should be worth a bump, with or without a clear understanding of its impact. It does sound cool though @ArjunKharpal

Southwest on the come up, raising guidance. Elliott has made the difference or management had a plan to begin with? More importantly, will a major overhaul of customer experience still be implemented? @Lebeaucarnews @chriselliotts
