Isn’t it strange how last week Israel didn’t see the attack coming, yet this week they know every hospital or school hiding Hamas fighters. Even more strange is that despite the number of bombs dropped over the years Hamas are still there, despite intel led bombs to destroy them.

As a Celtic fan from Ireland, I’d never buy or wear a poppy. But it’s a minutes silence, many of our fans want to pay their respects to the fallen, and I think we could all spend that minute remembering our fallen on all sides. It should be respected to allow those who want to.

It’s very true. You aren’t actually allowed a phone on in Court, full stop. It’s mainly to stop Interruptions and to prevent recordings, but I dare you to take a phone in a court and ask a judge to delay a hearing when someone calls you if you don’t believe me.

I agree re the poppy, I’d never buy or wear one. But there’ll have been people wanting to pay their respects, it’s no big deal just to keep quiet for a minute to let them, or stay out in the concourse until the silence is over.

Any recollection of last season when both the above were injured and we relied on Ajeti or Abada up front? If we can get Ajeti off the books another striker is needed imo. He won’t start every game, but would be a worthwhile addition imo.

Cole was a great player, but Irwin could play left back and right back (he was actually right footed). Very under rated player. Superb free kick and penalty taker. Cole was certainly more skilful, and not for a second saying not an extremely talented footballer.

What I don’t understand is the lack of passion. Lennon was so passionate as a player, the last thing I ever expected was one of his teams to play so passively. He just sat there and took it, why wasn’t he jumping up and down on the touch line? Somethings not right.

It’s really petty, but even when he was Celtic manager I always had a nagging doubt at the back of my mind about his words. I remember when he was Oz manager and told Rogic to leave Celtic, his interest is solely in himself and everything he says is about his self interest.

The club needs modernisation, it’s a changed world since Desmond first gained control. We are a plc but somehow have managed to end up back at the point of having an owner like those the fans fought hard to get shot of who held onto a family dynasty. It needs some fresh thinking.

August is Celtic’s most important time of the season, financially. Every year they shoot themselves in the foot. Players should be bought in January to be ready to go in August. Not trying to throw a team together. The fact they aren’t says a lot about the clubs ambition.

As much as I slate the huns, it was obvious to everyone Beale was a dead man walking, they pulled the plug quickly and have salvaged their season. Zero chance Celtic will do that though, it will drag on and on, even if we do sack him it will go to Kennedy and drag on to summer.

Don’t disagree, but you’d need to be bringing in 8-9 players to replace them. If we do that we’ll be buying cheaper players who may not be first team ready. I’d rather sign 4 first team ready players, push a first teamer to cover and sell 4-5 of the above.
