@joeltelling The hex head can sometimes be easier to use because you can use a socket on them.

@joeltelling And what a journey that we’ve been able to watch. You’ve been an inspiration through it all. Congrats on 7 years!

@tinkercad Why did you make it so big though. Seems like it would have been more practical to make look like a pencil shape with a point?

@repkord Good thing that is a Census and not a Consensus because I’m not sure a majority would agree given your fashion sense and all ;)

I thought he did a good job of covering the history. The book “The CHIP” also explains it quite well. When I was a kid I studied Edison and always wondered what that extra tube was for. It wasn’t until many years later I learned it was from this type of tube that he would discover the Edison Effect and how it led to the transistor.

@joeltelling @Prusa3D @wekster2507 How long did you have to carry the printer until you found an available plug ?

@joshuartaylor It works off a specific voltage to trigger the firmware so I recommend that SE version.

@joshuartaylor Did it ever work? If it did, then you might take the sensor case apart and verify the arm inside isn’t stuck.

So far everything I’ve watched implies this was designed well. Congrats @Prusa3D Haven’t been able to try one yet but I like the open source option. But I’m still having fun with my XL. I also need to get my GPIO Board working on my MK4. Too much to do, too little time.
