Liverpool suggested a replay when a legitimate goal was ruled out in error and it was met with massive resistance from everyone else. A drop ball goes the wrong way 2 minutes before a goal and they’re suggesting that Klopp should replay it out of sportsmanship. Are you insane?
Throwback to 1999 when Steve Bruce threatened to take his Sheff Utd team off the pitch due to the unsportsmanlike way Arsenal scored their winner...
The ever sporting Arsene Wenger later agreed to replay the game at a later date - which Arsenal won.

It was all of *checks notes* one PL game ago that Kluivert survived a red card and Jota was denied a similar penalty to the ones from last night.
I think the term is called confirmation bias.
Now the Premier League has commenced 5 months of mourning over Klopp, do we have to just accept even more bias and corruption from referees towards them?

No of them were red imo, especially the VVD one as he was stationary. The point of my post was Tierney deemed on a red and one not. It’s about consistency which all teams fall victim to but your inferiority complex turns everything tribal. Bore off.
I’m quite relaxed about these types of challenges. It’s football, there’s always going to be fouls of this nature where players are a fraction late, but with what we’ve seen with Jones & others, this is a red under current rules. Either this & Jones are both red or neither are.

Fergie, Klopp, Sacchi, Stein, Cruyff, Clough, Shankly, Paisley, Busby, Michels et al all faced adversity at some point in their career & overcame it. Pep always had the best of everything & I doubt he could solve problems without elite players to execute his philosophy.
Don’t get me wrong, he is already the GOAT manager by a large distance.
But Pep Guardiola’s GOAT legacy will become absolutely untouchable for the eternity if he wins the treble twice in a row.

I think this is called cognitive bias. It does happen to other teams you just don’t see it or chose to ignore it. Every PL manager moans but only Klopp’s misgivings get highlighted is another example. Newcastle’s time wasting started in the second minute of the first half.

Kane and Salah are doing the exact thing you’re taught from a young age, get yourself between ball and defender. They have to either let you go or foul you. Now Salah’s vs Villa was (predictably and lazily) labelled a dive where as it’s a skill from the expert Kane.
Harry Kane is an expert at “Winning the space” using his body as a barrier between the ball & his opponent - in a race to get on a packed tube train he’d always get his leg in front to get his toe through the doors first, blocking his opponent’s path with his leg shoulder arm….
