@shegone03 @Chapel14Billy @ChrisNowak83 @Fiveframeswing @forcefulhitting When they were like 8 or 9 years old I showed them what kind of work it would take every day to become pros. They’re now grown men. Professionals with reputations as great teammates. 🇺🇸🇮🇹🙏🏼

In my experience with high level hitters They all pretty much love 90+ mph fastballs and love to hammer them. And they all use tee work to get themselves in position consistently to hammer those fastballs. I feel like most good hitters love hitting a good hard fastball.
In my experience coaching hitters at all different levels at many different places of skill - I am most confident in this conclusion: 👇🏼 ✅ We do not learn to hit 90+ mph fastballs by hitting off a tee or off of flips. No matter how much baseball pseudo-wisdom we want to apply.

How do you look at this graph and deduce each one is different - therefore adapt
NO TWO SHOT ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. Even the best shooter of all time, in the most controlled game environment, doesn't repeat the exact same shot each time. Yes, each shot is similar, but they are all unique as well. The ability to ADAPT is the true skill of shooting.

Certainly a tide has been turning lately bc this common sense take would get a lot of eye rolls over the last… 5 years?
Keep cage hitting; cage hitting. Keep game hitting; game hitting. Stop looking for game results in the cage and certainly stop looking for cage consistency in the game. Patterns, timing, path. Confident, adjustable, level headed Output not outcome. #Patience
