And here is the grave in Carlton House Terrace of von Hoesch’s devoted companion, Giro, who died after chewing electric cable in 1934. Often dubbed the ‘only Nazi grave’ in London, there’s no evidence of the dog’s political leanings and his owner was no fan of the NSDAP.
