We appreciate @RepJoeWilson calling for Imran Khan's release. However, Imran Khan is no more anti-/pro-China than Trump — both want the best for their countries. Letter comes at a time when regime official Naqvi — who Wilson recently met — is meeting with Xi in China.
Grateful to send this letter today to the political and military leaders of Pakistan to Free Imran Khan. I will also be engaging the Trump administration on this issue. US-Pakistan relations are strongest when Pakistan is democratic Free Imran Khan
