Walz isn’t in the legislature. He signed the bill when it came to his desk and ALWAYS made it clear he would have liked the rebate to be higher. I do remember the Senate GOP refusing to do rebates in 2022 because they didn’t want Walz to get the credit…

Draz literally ignores that several towns in the district, including Mazeppa and Red Wing, have active food shelves. In Red Wing, we also have community pantries all over town to help with food insecurity (like little free libraries but for food and supplies). He doesn’t care.

Just a reminder that not all towns in Greater MN voted for Trump. My hometown of Red Wing went blue in 2020, along with a few rural precincts in Lake City and Wabasha (and that’s without using regular organizing tactics like doorknocking!).

This is one of my favorite photos from yesterday. We met this lovely family after they visited their dad who works at the RW post office. They were headed to the library next but stopped to hang with us instead. The kids were ADORBABLE. I even got a hug… DAY OFFICIALLY MADE! 💕

IT’S HAPPENING!! Last night the Minnesota Senate voted to pass SF 2909, a public safety omnibus bill that includes universal background checks, a red flag bill, community violence intervention funding, and no knock warrants. The House will vote for final passage today. 👏👏👏

Thankful we have a responsible Secretary of Transportation working on this issue. Pete Buttigieg actually cares about people and will make sure the airlines follow the rules to make this right.
