If "everyone" hates Universes Beyond and/or Secret Lair products so much, why do they sell so well and why are people willing to wait in long lines to acquire them?. The lesson? People's words aren't worth much. Keep track of their behavior. Actions > words and all that jazz.
It feels like people are often complaining about too many releases, the game being too expensive, crossovers ruining the game, Magic losing its identity, etc. And then it's everyone complaining that they might miss out on a chance to buy the latest Secret Lair. sigh.

Stuff/things. 🔵Magic is seen as a T(rading)CG. It's not. It's very much a C(ollectible)CG now. The difference seems minor, but it's major. Research the rises and falls of sports cards to prepare yourself accordingly. Lot of parallels. And yes, it's (still) a luxury hobby.
