@JohnWakefieId Lying about this shit must have felt so much better than just hocking the billionth confabulation on Twitter. Like how early credit card fraud was something caught between mid century robin hood and Goodfellas, but now it is sending a bajillion spam emails.

@ShazCoder Unless there's a real transformation of the USA's investment function or fiscal balance or global balance-sheets in this term, I think that's going too far too quickly. Definitely a capital 'r' Reformer, though, unless absolutely nothing happens until 2028 (unlikely).

@ShazCoder @PAstynome There was almost zero mass support for this iirc, which was not the case for traditional Japanese imperialism.

@NicolasDVillar1 This is pretty obvious with people like Zuck, but, on the other hand, how many of these CEOs are committed liberals that willing to stick out like a sore thumb in the current environment? Not many, I’d guess.

@pachabelcanon Maybe post their @? This kind of vitriol is a vice that has to be discouraged and overcome.

@varnvlog No one in the peanut gallery is playing "I got you now, you son of a bitch!" when they're watching a conservative and radical argue. (Unless genuine obscenities are spoken). The battle lines have already been drawn, so to speak.

@varnvlog You've been more than charitable to these people, Varn. It's been stand up, but sometimes the reasonable thing is to accept that some people are unreasonable. This doesn't make them persona non grata, but it doesn't mean granting them your attention and time either.

@DoggyDog1208 None of the people on here screaming about Indian HIBs or how Chinese researchers at NIST are spies and who go on to insist scientific progress can be accelerated with 'Heritage Americans' alone can even contemplate the first step: turn the whole country into Massachusetts.

@pplsartofwar These tech people are starting to make me wish for the financier-swamperson mix that usually steers the non-administrative American state.

Beyond the question of whether you should get fired for nasty political views, it is remarkable how a 25 year-old man is rendered into a "kid." You're a baby until your 30, apparently.
Here’s my view: I obviously disagree with some of Elez’s posts, but I don’t think stupid social media activity should ruin a kid’s life. We shouldn’t reward journalists who try to destroy people. Ever. So I say bring him back. If he’s a bad dude or a terrible member of the team, fire him for that.

@VenturCommunist @internatlevin Maybe? Every major actor shares some of the blame, starting with the SPD who somehow convinced themselves that they were "building the preconditions of socialism," throughout this whole thing. But the masses were often incapable of strategic thought or supra-city coordination etc

@VenturCommunist @internatlevin Yes and participation in elections is a good indicator that someone is not an ultra.

@mongolslimak @friendinrussian One day someone is going to use Spengler to do postcolonialism for, like, Serbia and Poland.

@aphysicist Not sufficiently profitable. Same reason we don’t have as many car manufacturing plants as we used to or why we don’t have 20 competing rocket companies or whatever else technofantasy you can conjure.
