@squatsons I still believe in Ukraine. I believe their original plan to push with Western gear didn't go as planned so they are using a slower more methodical approach. I think ruining logistics, attacking bridges and waiting for opportunities that come to them is the smarter plan anyways.

For those slow to learn, Putin just demonstrated his approach to negotiations: .- When in a position of weakness, offer a deal; .- When a deal is struck, rebuild your strength; .- When you are again strong - spectacularly and performatively renege on the deal to send a message.

I want #BudapestMemorandum to start trending. I believe we needs to start explaining WHY we support sending our military and humanitarian aid and WHY the word stands with Ukraine. @POTUS has done a poor job of this. They gave up nukes for our protection.

To my Ukrainian friends, the funding vote yesterday was NOT a sign of wavering support. It was a short-term budget compromise. Prior votes this week show strong congressional support for Ukraine. Weβll have opportunities to support Ukraine funding soon. Slava Ukraini! πΊπΈπΊπ¦.

This article really brought me down. "Reporting From Ukraine" seemingly gone and now this. I might just take a few days off and try to come back recharged. Ukraine deserves so much more and so much better than Biden and the GOP house and all the EU leaders who've dragged heels.
Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief General Valery Zaluzhny wrote an article for The Economist that summarizes main risks of the war: it can turn into a protracted and positional one - like WWI. If this does happen, it will be good for Putin - Russia will continue destroying Ukraine

@WarVeteran1972 @TheStudyofWar This is not binary progress where each km is the same. The first parts were the hardest and they are speeding up as the line breaks. It will start to speed up exponentially within the next month. Don't underestimate the strikes into russia either.
