Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility. Tomorrow marks the beginning of National Autism Awareness Month. I was diagnosed with autism in December. I am both neurodivergent and non-binary. My preferred pronouns are they/them. (1 of 4)
I’ve never had one of these giant banners before, and I’m more than a little excited about it. There are a lot of firsts happening in my life lately and it’s fun to share moments like these with friends 😈
Hello my little goblins and poltergeists. “Novels About Vampires” out 3/3. This one is for all the kids who used books as an escape. For the pathetic mall goths who fell in love with Lestat, or Bella & Edward. Click here to pre-save, if you dare:
Orlando, thank you 🥹 although the night sadly didn’t go as planned, I am so thankful to all of you who stayed for me and my band and turned it into such a special night for us. Seeing you connect with these new songs meant the world. Loved getting to meet... (1 of 2)
My new single “EXORCIST” is coming to a music streaming service near you on December 9th! Pre-save/add using the link below (please, please, please, thank you, ILYSM). I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been doing for the last two years!
In the 9th grade I got in big trouble for being “sarcastic” and “impertinent,” because when the teacher was talking to us about Sylvia Plath, I thought she said “Saliva Bath,” and that's what I wrote down on the assignment that I turned in for a grade. 🙃
Wishing my sweet Mom and all of the parents and caregivers out there a wonderful day, and also holding space for those with heavy hearts. Let’s remember that we all experience holidays differently, especially family-centered celebrations 💙 love you folks!
I mean it when I say
@CandiCarpenter
has ruined music for me. Their new project is so fucking perfect, I don’t even want to listen to anything else cause it just won’t be as good. Due to this, my current favorite song is murder podcasts.
I went to an NSYNC concert with some friends in the 9th grade. After the show we all watched The Sixth Sense starring Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment, and a 10th grade boy made out with my hand (mostly my thumb?) but not my face. It ruined both NSYNC and ghosts for me.
It’s been two weeks since all six songs from my upcoming EP made their debut at
@itsaschoolnight
. Thank you to everyone who came out to catch the show ♡
Band rehearsals start next week, and it’s funny to realize… (1 of 2)
To my cis friends and allies; we need your help. Get angry. Call your elected officials. Tell your problematic relative why they’re wrong. Fight for us. We need educated advocates. Trans people deserve the right to be themselves. 🏳️⚧️ (4 of 4)
I found it interesting to learn that people with autism are three to six times more likely to be transgender or nonbinary. To all of my fellow neuro-spicy, gender-non-conforming friends, we ride at midnight. (3 of 4)
My entire life I’ve never felt comfortable being called a woman, a lady, a girl, a mam, or a miss. Visibility is important because I didn’t develop the language for what I was experiencing until my 30s. (2 of 4)

I just read that it takes a head of lettuce 25 years to decompose in a landfill
That doesn't make any sense when it only takes 25 SECONDS to decompose in my refrigerator
“Their sound makes for introspective lyrics to feel much deeper and nostalgic in their pain.” Aaaaah!!! Thank you for this excellent review of “Exorcist.” I loved reading it 🥹

It’s six songs, all utterly brilliant, with lyrics that take you deep below the sweet melodies and music.

Alexa recently gave me something called a “virtual tree of kindness” for saying nice things to her. I’m always telling her I love her because it makes the tree grow. Part of me wonders if she put in a good word for me with

Each song is an attempt to cast out the shame, the fear, and the trauma that have possessed me for so long. I need to name my demons in order to overcome them. This is just the beginning.

Ralph Paul Yarl was picking up his two siblings. He went to the wrong house in Kansas City, Missouri. The White man who opened the door did not see a lost 16-year-old boy. He saw a threat. Shot Ralph, twice. Once in the head to kill him. Somehow Ralph survived. 1/
