Yup, we're looking at the end of living conditions for humanity on this planet due to #ClimateCrisis, but we can have this unnecessary and trivial irrelevance.
Here’s a delivery drone dropping 5 super fresh pizzas into my garden in Dublin 3 minutes after they left the oven. I know it’s cool to talk about bottlecaps and cookie banners as Europe’s big innovations, but don’t forget there are legit areas where amazing stuff is happening.

@theJeremyVine I dunno @theJeremyVine - I'd put one the same width on the other side of the road (left hand as we look at it here) and have both of them one way. Make each wide enough for an ambulance/fire tender. That's better.

No. Genuine safety on the roads is NOT measured in this way. This way counts the absence of pedestrians/cyclists in the highway environment, often precisely because of road danger, so they are not there to be killed or hurt, as a plus. It doesn't refer to spontaneous... 1./
