I think Utrecht SPE was the best EU event location so far
-Venue was huge; lots of space; TCG could easily >1000
-located in the center; 5min walk from the train station
-Lots of restaurants/hotels nearby
-multiple airports within an hour away
Hopefully it's back next season

Bochum Regionals
- We pay 55EUR as an entry fee and there was not enough space on the tables.. no room for playmats, board, chairs can't properly move. It was not OK/uncomfortable
We get multiple announcements that masks are mandatory, but TO forgot about the distance policy.

If 3000 people are trying to get 2300 tickets for NAIC, it doesn't matter what kind of registration method you have, there will always be 700 people that will be unhappy.

After reading the issues with people traveling to NAIC, could we all agree as a community from now-on that big International events should be held in cities with big international airports with many affordable flights?
Venue: preferably plenty of restaurants / hotels nearby

I dont know Gabriel Smart, but I feel bad for him.
He started 0-2-1 and ended up with a 10-2-2 record and then being the only bubble in 9th place in a 700 player event.
Lots of respect for the insane run, though!

As I think the BO3-50min structure doesnt work currently, I mentioned the BO2-option a few months ago.
The next "logical" option is the BO1-structure. I added some rules to make this option more interesting from a competitive PoV, but also from an organising PoV.

Sander is the guy that made top8 at Frankfurt Regionals with Steelix/Wailord. He also finished runnerup at the Dutch Spe with WailordEX, when noone played it anymore and made day 2 at EUIC last season with Raichu/Heatmor.. I have to deal with him at every Dutch League Cup....

I want to thank everyone for being part of the BVPC; which means all streamers/viewers. There was a lot of positivity and support from the community. In the end, this was the goal of the challenge. All in all, I think the BVPC was a success. =)

I was watching the VOD of EUIC (R12). I know slowplay penalties are rarely given lately, but in my opinion in this case it shouldve been given, especially because there are 2 judges present at the match that can track the pace of play. See VOD:

Bo3 50 min is not enjoyable for me
More people purposely try to not finish G2/3 being 1-0 ahead or not finish G3 because they're losing
We need a tournament structure where both players have an incentive to finish the game, which is missing currently

/761 with Goodra/Comfey at Liverpool Regionals with a 5-1-3 record. Unfortunately I tied my win&in on stream, so I didnt make day 2.
I think the deck was good, but pretty hard to finish 3 games in 50 minutes.

PTCGL is too slow. Besides the coinflip, abilities, prize taking, taking way too much time, the in-game timer is also way too leniant. In the following screenshot my opp had 2 turns where only 1 Pokemon was benched, nothing else was done. Opp timer went from 19:10 down to 16:00

So last weekend:
-Former banned Force of Will player, puts card from missed Elixir to hand, just gets a prize penalty
-2018 LATAM IC winner got DQ'd at Chili Regionals for taking Elixir from his discard to hand.
-Not shuffling after decksearch, and playing Sycamore, no penalty.

With EUIC being in a different country this season, I think it would be very nice to move the OIC and LAIC next season to a different country as well. I would love to have LAIC in Chile and OIC in Singapore for example.

Some people think I'm an attentionseeker/hater/salty guy for calling out cheaters. I highly value honesty and fair play. Some people choose to stay quiet, but in the meanwhile they don't want to get cheated. I try to be pro-active and want to discourage cheating as much as I can

I still think a BO2 - tournament structure is very interesting
2-0 = 2 points, 1-0 is 1 point, 1-1 is 1 point for each.
1) Coinflip being less important, as both players can start once
2) Both players benefit from trying to finish 2 games.

What is the reasoning for the short-notice-registration-window?
It's quite inconvenient. With events being instantly full, I want to be registered first before booking flights/hotels/taking days off.

They:
1) never respond to questions via social media or email
2) removed the reply option on their facebook posts, yesterday. While obviously a lot of people have questions about what happened yesterday

Eder Jarillo got DQ'd at SPE Bogata on the 10th of May for blatant cheating (=stacking) and it was not his first offense
Do we know if he's still allowed to play (at Worlds)? I would definitely not feel comfortable playing against this player

I assume parts of the world were still sleeping when registration went live (West-Coast USA, Australia etc); people on flights, school or at work.

I dont understand the 500 cap for TCG Masters at EUIC.
After a two-year break I would expect at least the same amount of players as the last EUIC (=819 Masters), but would expect more players than that.
Having a 60% cap compared to last EUIC is very low, imo.

PTCGO is not perfect and obviously has its flaws (bugs).
But I am happy I do not have to deal with my opponents potentially slowplaying, stacking(declumping), double attaching, double retreating, playing double Supporter or putting cards on their lap.

Stuttgart Regionals:
+ Convenient venue location. Airport/Train Station/Multiple hotels right next to the venue
+ Big tables, plenty of space
+ Round starting time; I was actually able to play 50min rounds in all my rounds on day 1/2 (instead of the 47min rounds at Lille)
