Unlike girls my age, I wasnt around small kids. I wanted desperately to be a mom but I had never even changed a diaper. Didnt realize there were no days off. I think your analysis is good. I stepped up to the plate but he didnt. I dont encourage my girls to do what I did.

I appreciate your answer to his question--I had the same one. As an over 60 patient, I have had impressed on me to tell my doctor everything I am taking, even OTC. So I wondered about that too. It makes sense that its not a problem with the med you are treating but miscarriage.

My experience homeschooling 20+ years, with a LOT of homeschooling friends: women did the work. The hardest was the emotional labor. You knew that your kids' entire education rested on you. At best, the men did pep talks, no sense that it was a full time job for her.
