Many disbelieve when I say the plates are issued to me. At which point I tell them that I don't give a fuck about what they think, and go on my merry way.

Brother Jermaine Pelt, a Firefighter assigned to E75, Chicago FD, laid down his life in Service to others. People he had never met yet for whom he risked everything.
Say his name. May he Rest In Peace.
We take an oath to protect lives and property. Brother Pelt was doing just that this morning when he made the ultimate sacrifice for his city. We mourn with the Pelt family, and our brothers and sisters, especially our members of Engine Company 75.
