And this cut is a good example of why I went to concerts and also hated going to concerts: It was almost always bad. But sometimes, you got your face blown off with a Top 1,000 Of All Time Rock N' Roll performance. I saw these guys HAMMER a room back in the mid-2000s.

@JohnnyOldfield5 NGL this specific cut of this specific song is all I'm really into from them. They're all amazing musicians, but most of their stuff isn't my speed. BUT THIS ONE RIGHT HERE is what I'm after rock-and-roll-wise.

@CJBECKR It's part of why some people are blown away by In-N-Out or Five Guys or wherever: if you've never had anything but fast food, yeah...they're unbelievable. But if you grew up eating real burgers, then ANY chain is only so good.

To a great extent, firearms instruction only recently got past where karate was in the early 1960s: whatever the guy in your town declared "karate" to be was karate, and the chances of anyone ever challenging him on it were basically zero.
@Guntalk The barrier to entry to being an instructor is essentially just calling yourself an instructor and taking people’s money. I’ve seen some scary stuff from “professionals.”
