@mitchellsnik I lead the RSPB'S Investigations team and have now contacted Douglas Robertson (Kent Police wildlife crime co-ordinator). Scaffolding needs to immediately come down to allow birds access to their nests, the chicks will be fledged and gone in days, and the issue is then resolved.

The falcon was found on top of a plucked Wood Pigeon on @nationaltrust land. Despite the investigation being closed, Derbyshire Police declined the opportunity to put this release out, we feel it is critical that the public are made aware due to the risk to them and their dogs.

First caught this Sedge Warbler at Buckton on 15/8 - it was wearing a ring from another site, weighed 10.7g. I have surprisingly retrapped it this evening (no sign of it for the past 3 sessions here) and it now weighs 18.6g! It's body is like a barrel - full of fat for migration!

Spent my early evening rescuing this water-logged and grounded juvenile Peregrine (under license). A short spell of rest and recuperation and it will be fine.
