I have frequently argued that "Unsupported" is a terrible term for Steam Deck compatibility, "Unsupported" should only ever be used for games that are known to not launch at all. But the what it often means is incorrect glyphs, small font, weird resolution, etc.

COSMIC had an issue where it was caching unused fonts leading to it using more memory than it should, i.e a memory leak, this is something that is simply developer error and completely unsolvable at the level of the language without context on the correct behavior of the project.

I will die on this hill. There are 0 excuses for why GNOME does not support server side decorations as a fallback, client side decorations should be available for apps that want them but you cannot, and will not force every app to implement them so get used to the bug reports.

The craziest thing to me about the new Steam Deck OLED is Valve made the device better with a bigger battery, bigger storage, new OLED HDR screen, bigger screen, higher refresh rate and didn't keep the price the same, they actually lowered it.
