My hometown has been affected greatly. Please keep us in your thoughts. Many have lost everything… including some friends and family of mine.
A single picture of a large fire that destroyed upwards of 100 homes (confirmed by forestry service). This is Fritch, TX. A small town with a big history of damaging fires. While everyone was focused on the massive fire near Canadian Tx, this fire changed a lot of lives.

Arctic front has moved through Panhandle, TX! Small snow bands have formed due to topographical influence of the Canadian River Valley. Brown WX Station also measured drastic temperature drop.

Seeing some higher dBZ values on radar within this region. This is likely associated with a phenomenon called the Canadian River Valley effect snow. Terrain here can sometimes produce locally enhanced snowfall rates.

Wow - massive waves!
Whoahhh!!!! 🌊
Roi-Namur Island was struck by several substantial waves on Saturday night. It was NOT a tsunami. The powerful waves, driven by cyclonic surges in the open sea, affected the island located in the northern part of the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.
