🖐️ It’s pretty visible with the naked eye here at my house, looking to the east it’s bortle 6-8 looking south it’s a 4/5. But the darkest place I think I’ve been to see it would be some random field out in Nebraska or even a national park. Even with the photos I’m attaching to this post. It’s still not even really that dark.

@juststormchasin When do you fly in? Looks like Missouri is setting up for one to three major snowstorms during that week. I was really hoping for a warm weather. But that would be really cool for 500 something people to be in the same building geek King out over the snow storm

So believe it or not it may have been the great 2003 Halloween storm. I was 10 or 11. I’m 33 now if I did my math correctly, then it was about 21 years ago that I saw it. And for the longest time I believed I dreamt it, but my grandpa told me it actually happened. So 21 years later, I am now photographing the Aurora and completely in love with it
