@SCentralized The phase 1 books YA are pretty shippable imo. I actually prefer the YA books to the adult books in phase 2 however. And phase 3’s defy the storm and tears of the nameless are must reads for sure. I skipped the p1 ya books& went back later to read them. I’m glad I waited.

@cardigan_mess Phase 2 was incredible, depending on how things shake out in trials it might be my favorite of the 3. The world-building is great, fantastic characters, path of the open hands evolution is so cool, and how it all culminates at Dalna makes for an amazing conclusion.

@SCentralized Hoping this run will help to explain the huge shift in Adam Drivers performance from episode 8 to 9. He feels like a different character, it’s obvious that driver had checked out when they switched everything up on him for 9, but there could be an in universe explanation for it.

@denny_lawlor @CharlesSoule Do it, it’s worth it. And depending on how deep into it you go it might not take too long to catch up. If you were to just read the adult novels from phase 1&3, you would have 5 books to read &probably understand trials just fine. With YA,mid grade &comics it gets overwhelming.

@zweiwalker89607 I’ve only read up to catalyst rogue one, currently starting The Thrawn ascendancy trilogy, and so far these have been the weakest. I’ve loved all the high republic books but these three didn’t work as well for me, and padawan was just ok.

@rotsanakins On of the main reasons George wanted to make the clone wars in the first place was to “repair” or “fix”the character of anakin. They were moving away from Hayden’s performance to add to the character and make him more likable,so of course they’re not going to call him.

@thehonestjedi It’s about referencing the clone wars apparently. The flashbacks were my least favorite part of the first season, hopefully they’ll have a bit substance and more going on visually this time.

@ScarifPodcast No,I wasn’t a fan of mando becoming a cameo fest in season 2. I didn’t like the awful deepfake Luke. If they insist on having Luke, just use an actor that resembles mark. It doesn’t belong anywhere near mando let alone a boba fett show imo. They screwed up 2bounty hunter shows.

@SpectresLegacy there’s still time for ahsoka to do it in ssn 2. I disliked the use of the time travel room in ssn 1. It was essentially a dream sequence as opposed to rebels where they literally built up to it for seasons and it was difficult to access. I guess ahsoka can hop in whenever?

@nabberries The new canon is also more consistent.From THR to post rotj there’s connections.Legends was never meant to be taken so seriously, some good stories but they don’t fit in with Lucas’ vision.Lucas was retconning the eu on a weekly basis, openly saying the books don’t matter to him.

@Mando3Updates @KristianHarloff I feel like this is probably a plo koon in the mando season 2 finale kind of leak. I mean it would be cool to see embo but I hope they’re hiding something bigger. Either way this movies going to be fucking strange.

@Queener_Weener I would be fine with it if they were ongoing series, tales of the Jedi is especially promising if they’d show other eras like Luke training Ben, or high republic etc. The fact that it was 2 short stories and now it’s presumably over is lame. I’ve had my fill of ahsoka for now.
