2024 Window and thinking holistically on squad building— We don’t know who our coach will be next season. It feels inevitable it won’t be EtH. But we also know we need a very big rebuild, some may be thinking it’s tough to build when you don’t know the coach, but I disagree…

If this is the group, I’m excited. I hope you notice I do a lot of research. I’ve spent hours reading about DA & PM, and what they’ve done at previous clubs Thing is, what’s more exciting is the things they haven’t done yet The best clubs are innovative and think of new ideas

The reputation of Carrington once again. Beyond those two, there’s Gomes, Mengi, Chong, Fish and more thriving Should we have got better fees and clauses to call them back? Absolutely. But their success will help us more long term than it would at the club I believe

Recent years will hopefully raise the respect of our academy again Even in our poorest years players have gone on to play for PL teams Mengi, Chong, Garner all playing well in the PL, Laird doing well at B’ham, Angel bossing in Ligue 1

Teden Mengi vs Liverpool ☑️1 tackle ☑️3 interceptions ☑️1 blocked shot ☑️10 clearances 21 years of age. He gave 200%. An extremely solid performance by the former Man United centre-back.

GK: De Gea arguably has none of the attributes to a suitable standard for us to control games. The two main reported targets r both ideal: Raya and Costa. I agree with @TheDevilsDNA analysis. Costa has some small mistakes in him but will eventually be elite, Raya *is* elite now

The academy from Jose’s time to now has improved drastically Our academy has a very good balance of high level recruitment (Garnacho, Alvaro and more) and local lads who’ve been hear since young (Shoretire, Mainoo and more) Nick Cox has been a massive part of this…

Nice have built a squad suited to the modern game, before hiring exciting young execs, and now brought together by an exciting young coach playing fun football Maybe we’re allowed to praise them now? Just a tiny bit of optimism for Man Utd under INEOS too

Brighton don’t worry me, I don’t think De Zerbi will leave in the time being, Palace does worry me. Roy should be retired bless him They should look at Carrick too btw That said, the ID from Brighton, McKenna is very similar to De Zerbi

He’s press resistant, a controller AND ball winner. Compared to some1 like Frenkie, he continues and improves our great counter pressing. We’re a team that is aggressive like all the best Utd teams in history. We’ve scored many goals from winning the ball in the final 3rd

McKenna to Brighton should be seriously considered. Very hard for him to “win” with Ipswich in PL the way he plays. Would suit him and them very well and with a good season keep his stock on the up and up.

But our academy ain’t worth crap some say. I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, our academy is the strongest it’s been since ‘92, and if it wasn’t for the incoherent environment of the first team and the way the modern game now views how academies work, we can have a core of

Literally nobody with a brain cell or money coming to their pockets for hating on him, believes Rashy should leave It would not be “the right thing to do” No new coach in their right mind is gonna come in and think it best that this guy isn’t a major pillar in his squad

Makes sense. Lots of positive noise coming out of Manchester United at the moment. Selling Rashford would be a difficult thing to do, but it would be the right thing to do. We have seen so much of him over the years & the likelihood is his pressing intensity will never improve.

Another couple reasons why this could be the case: - INEOS were silent during Berrada appointment, if you’re hearing things it’s happening - INEOS would’ve known for months if it were possible to get Ashworth. They would’ve backed off and/or you wouldn’t hear about failure
