What if we had therapies to extend healthspan and prevent the onset of age related diseases? I’m excited to announce my first @ARPA_H program, PROSPR. The goal is to develop validated surrogate biomarkers, new clinical endpoints and therapies to collectively extend healthspan by 20 years for all Americans.

@bryan_johnson You can be ambitious as fuck to improve health_span. And you will contribute meaningfully to the solution of aging.

The oft stated concern for transient reprogramming is the increased incidence of cancer (based on full reprogramming data). Is anyone testing whether PR does increase cancer? Mice are actually a pretty good model for this. It could be done in wild type mice with factors given midlife or even in one of the myriad of cancer models and check for severity and onset. It's a fail fast type of experiment.
