But anybody trying to sell you on just “get in the trades”
Is doing a massive disservice, if they aren’t simultaneously pushing you to go independent after an apprenticeship.

There’s so much work and no where near enough skilled labor to satisfy the demand.
It couldn’t be easier to make money than it is today

You can make enough money to provide for a family and be reasonably comfortable.
BUT you pay heavily with wear on your body and long hours.
This tier should only be a stepping stone to the next, NOT where you stay.

If you’ve been following me for more than 5 minutes you know my love for Walnut.
Maker is incredibly talented. Excited to see how quick this first run gets scooped up!
Later this week I'm going to be launching a product I designed earlier this year that I've held off on launching because it's incredibly expensive to manufacture and therefore will be quite expensive price-wise. It's a modular everyday carry gear organizer made from solid walnut.

Edge band is a cost effective way to increase the looks of cheaper builds.
Have a series of Birch plywood drawers, and for about $0.50/Ft I’ll hide those unsightly ply layers.
Then the drawers will get hit with some shellac!
