I’m assuming a lot of those schools are NAIA or play in conferences that make travel requirements much easier. I don’t think it’s as easy as just donate and become a D-1 baseball program again. Bring it back as a NAIA!

@BlackCoachK @ChiStateCougars @HBCUIconEx Look, I would love it to be back! I live 20 minutes from the school. It’s more of a baseball culture problem and how country club the sport has become! Costs to much. Revenue is not possible because of the cost to run/ let alone be competitive.

@mnilles3 Football S&C program in winter. Played catch w/ my dad once a week and played pick up basketball every day with my friends in the winter. 91-92 junior year summer. Never been hurt in my life. Still throw better college guys now. More HS guys need to hear that message in baseball.

This is the PROBLEM. Play with your friends as long as you can. Cutting 12u players off a evaluation from coaches/ parents who have ZERO clue are killing kids confidence and destroying the game overall.
