Nothing much - but for the sake of transparency and developing this game for, and with, you - we figured we wanted to start sharing more work in progress.
Here is a look at the weapon collision system. We intend to provide you with much more behind-the-scenes footage and other
Showcasing our automated helmet-collision-avoidance (trademark pending) system. We're also giving you a tiny glimpse into some of the initial exploration for the music, which is being created by the talented Jose Pavli.

The Blight is taking shape. Here's a glimpse at how Blight-infected enemies will evolve in our world. 👀

It makes us very happy to announce that Blight: Survival has been selected as a recipient of an Epic MegaGrant. MegaGrants are offered by Epic Games to to creative, noteworthy, and innovative projects built in and around Unreal Engine or projects that enhance the open source 3D
@MagentaIris
We'll stay true to our roots. PvE is our sole focus.
If we ever decided to add PvP post launch, it would be an opt-in PvP mode, separate from the core experience.

@LaurBadea
The over-exaggeration is done on purpose, for gameplay purposes.
Actually most of the locomotion isn't meant to look 100% realistic. It also needs to read well from a gameplay perspective :)
.. that or rubber walls.

@Azermane
Sorry to hear that you think so. Obviously we already have these things jotted down in our GDD. This is more to gauge the matter of importance in our community. It will allow us to prioritize :)

@timsoret
Haha, no, that was just a poor attempt to be funny. We would never do such a thing as we don't believe features or mechanics can or should be patented. We are very much against such practices.

@voidnuker
We're still a ways out from our initial playtests, so we don't have anything to announce just yet, but your anticipation means the world to us!
@DuskFennecFox
You are right. We try to stick with 14th century, but it isn't our of the question to slip into other centuries as long as the style feels like it would fit.

@HopeKillerZiz
If this is what you're referring to, we'll also have female characters to choose from (although they will look the same with their armor on - historically men and female used the same armors).
@FerretsSpartan
Plate will make significant more sound than cloth. So it will be less than ideal for more stealthy operations. The pre-alpha gameplay doesn't reflect the final thing.

@Predalien_7809
We are in negotiations with investors which is why we don't want to make any further waves, but we are engaging with our community across all platforms. We have some news very soon.
@dour_knight
We have done a sanity check on any suggestions, and it is mostly to figure out what excites the community, and what to prioritize :)

@Soly_Lisse
Don't worry friend, this changes nothing :) The grant come with no strings attached, and it won't be an Epic exclusive. This just means we have more funds to make Blight more awesome.

@bazinga199981
We're currently looking for funding, as we're currently just two developers at the moment :) Once that is secured, we can safely say yes!
@ComboCounter
We actually have such a system in place :)
As for the off-hand vs. main hand, only some weapons can be used in the off-hand, such as daggers and shields.

@Zariel_Art
While this is just a testing environment, we're definitely playing with the idea that some doors will be heavy/reinforced to have you fall. But we'd need to get player feedback first :)
@KettyWombey
We managed to navigate the treacherous waters, that is the business side of things. We recently joined forces with ten developers, and are still building momentum, but you can expect more updates going forward.

@MR3Dev
Plate armor will make significant more sound than that of cloth. Something we hadn't implemented in the pre-alpha gameplay, but intend to have in the final game :)
