@DMeville Okay, I cannot for the life of me work out how to change just the material in the scratchpad. But if you set mesh indices it's fine (this is based on distance to the main actor as set in a material collection -> niag collection, you'd probably want to feed it camera position).

Alright Twitter, I need to post more. So, the demo for Careening is out now on Steam. I plan to use this as a launch point to improve the game so feedback is welcome.

I've updated the Optimining prototype, it now features twice as many levels (2 total), 50% more non-default Unreal Engine models (6 total), twice as many lights (2, again). Still the same terrible UI. Check it out for free:

Careening, my vibrant and lighthearted game about driving into poorly placed rocks, reckoning with how time seems to pass yet things stay the same, and bonking into robots now has a trailer.

While deeply procrastinating over the weekend I've made a little prototype. It is awful to look at it, and only has one level, but if anyone would like to give it a shot and try to beat my high score (~130) I would welcome feedback.
