⚔️Sharpen your swords and pray to your lords!🙏
Death of the Reprobate will be released on November 7th!
I am withered to a husk, but the triptych is almost complete! I could really do with your help spreading the word about this one, if nobody buys it I will be very very sad.
Hi! I'm making a very silly adventure game set in a world of Renaissance art!
...still…
...meanwhile time continues to pass. I continue to age irrevocably. My body withers towards dust and my mind numbs itself to piffle.
Hey guys, I shouldn't have to say this, but please, DO NOT put your Really Fucking Unusually Heavy Marrow on the Forlorn Bride Floating in a Murky Puddle!
My entire UI aesthetic is dumb workarounds for anything vaguely complicated...
Today I wanted to teleport the cursor up to the inventory if you press "i" but I couldn't figure it out so instead I made "i" trigger a little carrot that tempts people to move the cursor themselves
Hello peasants! I'm working on a new game!! If you liked my last two games, you are going to LOVE this!!! (if you like watching a developer innovate and progress artistically, you are shit out of luck)
Just added something fun to the game for the first time in a little while 🥳 (been busy with ✨programing tasks✨).
And by 'something fun' I am, of course, referring to a violent unprovoked stabbing by a nameless masked assailant.
Dust off your inventories and sharpen your sabres, The Procession to Calvary is OUT NOW!
Any help you can give me spreading the word would be greatly appreciated :)

Oh no, the picture frame I had made for AdventureX finally turned up (yes, quite a lot late) and it looks fabulous! I thought this was just going to be a silly gimmick, but it actually makes the whole game feel different...
Gave these heartfelt and entirely sincere answers to a journalist recently and for some unknown reason they didn't end up including them in their article... 🤷♀️
Dear Father Twittermas,
For Christmas I would like 25 reviews (preferably positive) for my game Four Last Things on Steam. It currently has 975 reviews. Reaching 1000 reviews would make me very happy. I believe I have been a good boy this year.
Thank you.
This is what my first draft dialogue looks like. It hurts me to remove such quality lines as 'get that dick wet, bad boy' but sometimes something beautiful must be lost for the greater good of the artwork as a whole.
My game was meant to come out months ago, yet here I am, tinkering with the corner of this scene for several hours because the balance of the room seemed a little off.
You all love the collage style now that I'm using Renaissance art, but where were you when I was a true artist, using stock photos and pictures of my own cock and balls?
Oh no, what have I done!?
I made the Death of the Reprobate demo available on Steam. You can go and download it right now.
Play it. Hate it. Badmouth me to your friends and family. Everyone wins.

Big thanks to everyone who has taken the time to write a review for my silly little game! 1000 reviews, overwhelmingly positive, as a lonely old solo dev, feels like a big achievement and I am proud of myself and thankful to have all you beautiful weirdos on my side ❤️

If you are eagerly awaiting Death of the Reprobate, but haven't played Four Last Things or Procession to Calvary yet, now would be a good time to pick them up... (they are on sale)
The Procession to Calvary has been rejected from the App Store for containing 'realistic portrayals of violence'. I have appealed the decision, but my hopes aren't high :'(
Fingers crossed, I guess...
Right then, looks like I've finally lost my mind. Genuinely considering a puzzle design choice that will inevitably lead to me adding a Steam achievement named 'assisting a fisting'...
fuck just realized that as well as forgetting to quote the original I wrote 'buy' where everyone else is writing 'play' I have exposed myself as a greedy little capitalist pig
“He farted in the pre-ferment for my malt loaf, and the yeast became so active that it lifted the thatch off my kitchen”
Still one of my favorite lines in Procession, but – more importantly – HOLY CRUD those subtitles are sooo UGLY I'm so sorry for putting you through that!
@RoiLennon
This video made my day! You did a fantastic job of translating on the fly, but if you want to save some effort my previous game, The Procession to Calvary, has an official French translation... I'd be happy to send you a key if you are interested? :o)
What's that I spy on the horizon!? No no, not the little egg-demon, the other thing - Death of the Reprobate will be at Day of the Devs this weekend! :D
(sorry, they sent me the laurel graphic and I got carried away)

I decided this was a bit too aggressive to just exist as standard, so I've hidden it behind this apparently nonsensical toggle in the options menu. I feel this makes it funnier, but also softens the tone somehow by turning it into a callback gag.
Hello

! The Procession to Calvary is a point and click adventure made from Renaissance art, in which you can (but definitely should not!) murder anyone who stands in your way. Add it to your

The Procession to Calvary is my first game in which you are unable to do irrelevant back flips.. I feel like I have betrayed my roots :,(

I did none-game inspirations the first time around because I'm cooler than all these nerds, so here is the indie game I'm making and 3 of the GAME inspirations behind it...
You will all be THRILLED and DELIGHTED, no doubt, to discover that the “(magic?) flute” I edited out of The Procession to Calvary will make a return in Death of The Reprobate...

I hate making video games. What kind of buffoon - what kind of absolute fucking cretin - would willingly spend multiple years working on a single thing without any indication along the way as to whether or not that thing has any value whatsoever?!

Here is a scene from Death of the Reprobate evolving... I've been tinkering a lot more this time around, partly because I have more time on my hands, partly because I'm running out of easily adapted artwork, but mainly because I can't bring myself to start writing/programming...
OK, launch seems to have gone pretty well :) I would like to say a big thank you to
@DevRelCallum
, and everyone at

for swooping in and helping me out at the last minute. I really appreciate the support and it's been a pleasure working with you ❤️
Sent a build to a couple of publishers – a curtailed introductory cutscene, then straight into the old 'assisting a fisting' puzzle – so, eh, I guess I'm self publishing this one!

When I changed hotspot highlighting from click to hold the button in the inventory stopped working. It still doesn't work in Procession (sorry, lol), and I can't figure out how to fix it, so... for Death of the Reprobate can I just replace it with this?
Sound on for woofs 🐶
@OSacone
I’m not quite as naturally funny or creative or technically gifted or physically attractive as Terry, but I try my best :P
Also, you might have waited a few years longer than necessary…
Good morning friends and foes! I'm you're host for this weeks

I'm (still!) working on The Procession to Calvary -
Four Last Things and The Procession to Calvary are now both rated overwhelmingly positive on Steam! I think the key factors are the (overly?) low price and the honest (literally just gameplay clips pinned together in Movie Maker) trailers, but I am still celebrating the win😎
This is just utterly ridiculous! 🤩
Thank you
@laclaradi
and
@loop_gr
for misjudging peoples appetite for Joe Richardson related content so spectacularly! :P
Hello, new followers!
In case you didn't know, I have actually already released two very silly Renaissance adventures, and they just so happen to be on sale for the next few day...
