That was a big storm day on Monday (10/2). Thank goodness the capping inversion broke early and not in the afternoon - the hail could have been even worse for some areas. More on Tuesday's interesting unfolding weather, here:

We have a lovely Oz Post parcel person, that does a great job. Startrack? Not so much. They told us yesterday that they couldn't deliver, as our home was closed. We were here. The truck stopped in the rain then drove away...first world problem but frustrating...not happy Jan.

@ChrissieEvert @RealJimCourier As an Aussie, I tend to agree. Ch9 is embarrassing with their interviews, at times. Jim Courier is generally great though. It's the players moment - they deserve to have the stage and not be subjected to strange questions.

@toddwoodbridge What is happening with Tony Jones this year at the tennis? He is usually a bit narky/cheeky but this year it has gone over the top. We all have to apologise for our behaviour at times - so we are all hoping Tony does. 🙏

@telstra This latest NBN issue is a debacle. It's not that the NBN is down (that happens) it's that I keep getting automated reminders that I need to address my modem using 4G backup, even though my whole street has no NBN. Telstra even sent me texts saying the NBN is down!

@Telstra @MariaOzLakshmi Yes, we'd all appreciate a bit more detail. All Telstra has said to me via text so far is, we don't know when the NBN will be restored.

#storms #weather Severe storm potential on 15-1-25. There's a myth that trees are safe for refuge during thunderstorms. If you are stuck outside during storms, seek refuge under a low lying shrub/bush, shelter etc. Crouch down. Avoid touching others.
