🎯My wonderful Israeli cousin was married to a settler for yrs (have 4 children together) Her mom (Holocaust survivor) needed an armed driver to go visit them. Eventually, she & children left that life bc it was counter to her desire for peace.Most Israelis despise the settlers.
Nationalism is bad. It's bad when expressed by violent Israeli settlers and it's bad when expressed by Hamas militants. There is no justice in nationalism, particularly when it comes to Westerners overly mapping their own personalities onto conflicts within the Middle East.

Xander had the best comments, imho. He is the student who was the Valedictorian at Pine View a couple years ago. He was “forbidden” to make his speech about LgBTQ+ issues, so he cleverly made it about his hair as a metaphor for being born who you are. Great speech.
